Last week I came across a post on wall decals on a fantastic local blog, That’s Noice!, and was reminded of how nice these can look.

Although not to everyone’s design taste, I think a nice wall decal can work in the right setting, particularly some of the more sophisticated designs.

Although most you’ll find on the Internet are strictly listed as removable wall decals, they’re still probably not the best idea if you’re renting given that it they need to be stuck to the wall and there’s a reasonable chance they may remove paint if taken off earlier than the life of the decal. (Generally wall decals last a good few years inside, slightly less outside.)

I quite fancy the wall decal from Etsy pictured here - it would go nicely with my dark pink and brown design scheme.

My only worry is that I’ll get sick of a wall decal and then be stuck with the hassle of removing it.
