Kayser lace boyleg

Kayser lace boyleg

I was just browsing on u.Lasoo and I noticed that the lovely Christie who sits opposite me contributed this offer from BIG W on the new Kayser lace boyleg underwear.

Apparently this is a new addition to Kayser’s range of boyleg underwear and I have to say that the existing Kayser boylegs are some of the best around - comfortable and flattering.

I am a big fan of boylegs, because let’s face it, no one really looks that good in a G-string - as far as I am concerned they should be saved for outfits that need them or for when you have run out of all other options in your underwear draw.

$9.95 is a good price for Kayser underwear and I am thinking I might take my NEW CAR (notice how subtly I slipped that one in) for a spin on the weekend to my nearest BIG W to stock up.

As an aside, did you read right to the end of the offer? BIG W seems to think there are only two body shapes, column and pear: “Column: shoulders and hips balanced, petite waist, legs that go all the way up! Pear: flat tummy, shapely bottom and thighs.” They seem to have completely overlooked my body shape: “Apple with toothpick legs stuck in the bottom”.

Kayser Flip Bra

Kayser Flip Bra

One of the age-old dilemmas when shopping for a new bra is choosing the right colour.

Inevitably it’s always a matter of “if I buy the black one, I can’t wear it with white tops”, “if I buy white, it will show throw darker tops” and you end up buying a bra at the exclusion of part of your wardrobe.

Kayser is about to launch a completely reversible bra, which is obviously a great idea. On one side it’s black, then you can flip it over to nude as required.

If you’re one of those people who has a social life and goes out for drinks or to functions after work, this would be handy if you need to change tops before you go.

The Flip Bra uses Kayser’s seamfree technology so it moulds into shape no matter which way you’re wearing it. This also gives a smoother effect when worn with figure-hugging t-shirts.

There’s also a lot to like about the price - given that for $39.95 you’re effectively getting two bras for the price of one.

The Kayser Flip Bra launches in August. For stockists call 1800 623 354.

Save the world with your underwear

Save the world with your underwear

These days it seems that just about everyone and everything is involved in the climate change issue, so why not your underwear too?

Kayser has teamed up with environmental organisation Climates Coolers to produce the new Kayser Cares line, which uses environmentally friendly bamboo fibre.

Bamboo requires less water than cotton and can be grown without fertilisers or pesticides, making it much friendly for our planet. Bamboo fibre is also very soft, breathable and anti-bacterial - it can even kill bacterial on the skin, which causes body odour, so it acts like a deodorant.

A percentage of the profit from the Kayser Cares range goes to Climate Coolers, an organisation that helps women to fight against climate change.

The Kayser cares range consists of a cream cami (RRP $19.95) and matching briefs (either shorts, bikini or g-string, all RRPs $14.95).

Kayser products are available from Myer and specialist lingerie stores nationally.
