Diva calculator

Diva calculator

It goes without saying that I need cheering up on a Monday, and today it’s this leopard-print calculator from Diva that is making me giggle.

I’m not entirely sure why I find this calculator so funny. Maybe it’s because Diva is the last place on earth I would think of looking for a calculator. Maybe it’s because I had a vision of whipping this baby out at my desk at work and frantically working out equations on it (note: my job involves little-to-no equation solving).

In any case, it’s kind of cool and for $10, you can have your fun with it on Monday then move on to something else by Tuesday.

Diva feather earrings

Diva feather earrings

You know I like a cheap and cheerful buy to celebrate Friday, and Diva is an invaluable source when it comes to cheap and cheerful.

So if you’re near a Diva store today, I suggest heading in to pick up a pair of these peacock feather earrings, which will only set you back $13 (if you’re prepared to wait, you can also order them online).

These babies are obviously a bit of a statement piece so I think they’d work best with the rest of your outfit toned right down - such as basic black.

Cookie Monster earrings

Cookie Monster earrings

It’s nice to end the week with something cheap and cheerful, and these Cookie Monster earrings fit the bill nicely.

You can pick them up for just $5.99 from your local Diva store, or otherwise buy them online. Either way, they’re sure to cheer you up during the dark days of winter.

Diva actually has a whole range of Sesame Street jewellery at the moment, featuring the likes of Elmo, Big Bird and Bert & Ernie. I have to say though that Cookie Monster was always my favourite, because he was always so loud and proud about his love of cookies.

Incidentally, Diva is having another one of its famous in-store sales, so you’ll be able to pick up some bargains from as little as $3 while you’re there.

Westfield catalogues on Lasoo

Westfield catalogues on Lasoo

Some exciting news for fashion lovers and shopping addicts - catalogues for Westfield Shopping Centres have just gone live on Lasoo this morning.

The current Westfield Magazine is available now and is packed with women’s and men’s fashion plus homewares ideas.

The magazine has items from some existing Lasoo retailers, such as Target, but you’ll also find ideas from new retailers, including some gorgeous and inexpensive jewellery from Diva.

I had a quick look through and love the two dresses pictured here, from Supre and Cotton On - in fact, at $34.95, the Cotton On Linney dress is a great buy.

Diva leopard ring

Diva leopard ring

Here’s something cheap and cheerful to finish off a week that has been anything but those two things.

My love of the legendary Panthere de Cartier (AKA Cartier panther) ring grows deeper with each passing year so I’ll always stop and linger over any cocktail rings that are inspired by this masterpiece.

This Diva leopard ring is another contender and it acquits itself quite well for $25.

You can buy it online, or head into your nearest Diva store at lunchtime and have this knuckleduster on your finger in time for after work drinks tonight.

Diva Swirl earrings

Diva Swirl earrings

Not every piece of jewellery you buy has to cost a small fortune - sometimes you need something to spice up a particular outfit and don’t want to spend more than $20 on it.

That’s where Diva jewellery steps in - you’ll rarely pay more than $30 for anything, and better still, if you shop during one of the famous Diva sales you’ll pick some pieces up for as little as $2 and $5.

I just stumbled across these Diva Swirl earrings and they’re really pretty - in fact they remind me of the Samantha Wills Gracie earrings, but at $14.99 they’re literally a fraction of the price (that fraction being 3/10ths).

Plus, I only just realised you can shop online at the Diva website. Handy!
