Two phrases I never thought I’d see together are “Country Road” and “body con”, but once again I’ve been proved wrong.
This saucy little number is, indeed billed as a body con dress (basically that’s fashion parlance for super tight).
The bright yellow should cheer up anyone on a summer day, and it’s surprisingly affordable ($129).

I wrote about this Leona Edmiston shirt dress a couple of months back and the good news is it’s now on sale.
You can pick it up through the online boutique for just $80, down from the original $129 price, plus $10 shipping (although shipping is free if you throw something else in to your shopping cart and spend over $100).
I am very, very close to buying it, so hopefully someone else will grab it while I try to talk myself out of it.

In all the noise about the epic iPhone v Android battle, things have been strangely quiet on the BlackBerry front.
That looks set to change with the BlackBerry Torch, which the manufacturer hopes will reignite the world’s love affair with the smartphone which once led the market.
BlackBerry tends to be the phone of choice for business users, thanks to its superior email and text input capabilities. But recently more business users have been veering towards the all-purpose iPhone. Can the Torch halt the attrition?
It’s definitely a massive departure from its predecessors, which means one of two things: either it will be a resounding hit, or a resounding failure. For starters, the Torch is a very stylish-looking unit: it features a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen (320×480 pixels) plus full QWERTY keyboard, which slides out from underneath the screen.
Under the hood, the Torch runs the new BlackBerry 6 OS, which is more visual than previous incarnations in an attempt to move the brand beyond the business market. It runs on a 624MHZ processor, which is slightly under-specced for a visual smartphone.
The BlackBerry Torch is available today through the Optus network, with Telstra and Vodafone due to release plans for it before the end of 2010.

Alternatively, you can shop online after 3pm to claim your discount - just use the code DELIGHT at the checkout.
I love this coral-coloured dress - and the 30% discount brings it down to a very reasonable $105.

They say that when you’re onto a good thing, you should stick to it.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the new MacBook Air takes more than a little inspiration from the phenomenally successful Apple iPhone and iPad.
Not only is the new MacBook Air Apple’s lightest Mac ever (it weighs in at just over 1kg), but it also uses the flash storage last seen on the iPad, rather than a traditional notebook hard drive. The upshot of this is that the device runs much faster than your typical hard drive-based laptop.
The new MacBook Air also incorporates the FaceTime video chat technology, currently seen on the iPhone 4 and the latest iPod Touch. Using the integrated camera, microphone and stereo speakers, you can chat with other users running the software on a compatible device.
Apple has also announced it is introducing an App Store for the Mac, similar to the stores for iPhone and iPad apps. While this is scheduled to launch overseas in the next three months, no firm date has been set for an Australian launch.
The new MacBook Air is available in Australia now. It comes in 11-inch and 13-inch models, with pricing starting from $1199 the model with 2GB of memory and 64GB of storage.

Homewares rank right up there with shoes when it comes to things I dream about owning, so it should be no surprise to know I’m all over this week’s Target homewares sale catalogue.
There are always some great buys in these catalogues and to be honest most items look just as good, if not better, than homewares from more expensive retailers.
For $15 each, these Egyptian bath towels are worth checking out. They’re marked down from $20 and are big enough to use at home or at the beach.

I’m all over these babies, which would make a great dressy shoe for a night out over summer. Get in quick because for $169.95, I can’t see them lasting long.

We are giving away five prize packs to celebrate the release of the new movie “Red” in this week’s free Lasoo competition.
Each prize pack consists of a double in-season pass to see the movie and a limited edition “Red” t-shirt.
Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIA’s top agents – but the secrets they know just made them the agency’s top targets. Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive. To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history.
To enter this week’s competition, tell us in 25 words or less using the form below about your favourite conspiracy theory. The best answers will win and the competition closes next Thursday.
