Winter is just around the corner so we’re happy to announce that this week we are giving away sheepskin footwear once again!
Mortels Sheepskin Factory has been kind enough to donate five pairs of the ladies’ “bullet” sheepskin slippers plus five pairs of baby booties to give away to Lasoo members. Each winner will receive a pair of slippers and a pair of booties. Each prize is valued at $83.95.
Mortels Sheepskin Factory is one of the few remaining 100% Australian owned manufacturers of sheepskin ugg boots.
Mortels also sells sheepskin seat covers, baby gear, bed underlays, longwool rugs, medical gear and more. You can shop online at the website or visit one of the two stores in Thornton and Warners Bay.
To enter this week’s competition, check out Mortels’ range of sheepskin footwear and tell us in 25 words or less using the form below which is your favourite item in the range and why. The best answers will win.
The competition closes next Thursday.

If you were one of those clever people who signed up to the Witchery loyalty program recently to receive a $30 voucher, then here’s some more good news.
You can currently get 30% off all full-priced Witchery and Witchery Man stock, both in-store and online. If you want to shop in-store, you’ll need to show your card; otherwise the discount will be applied online if you’re logged into your account.
And if you’re not a member, it’s not to late to join to take advantage of both the $30 voucher and the 30% discount.
I’m all about shopping for winter clothing at the moment, and my pick of the bunch from Witchery is this fur collar knit jacket, which looks snuggly and warm. With the discount, you’ll get it for just $140 rather than $200.

If you love yourself some glamorous bling but can’t afford the real thing, costume jewellery is the only way to go.
I myself am a huge fan of costume jewellery, especially over-the-top cocktail rings, which are one of my shopping weaknesses.
I just discovered another Australian site for buying jewellery online, Miriyan jewellery, and it has some pretty and affordable pieces.
This sterling silver marcasite and agate ring is beautiful and so unique, plus it’s reduced to a very reasonable $49.
