Motorola H790 review

Motorola H790 review

The new Motorola H790 is a basic Bluetooth headset for your mobile phone that offers exceptional audio performance at an affordable price point.

The feature set of the Motorola H790 won’t blow you away, especially when compared with some of the more expensive Bluetooth headsets on the market. Basically, it can be used to make and receive hands-free calls from your phone - and that’s it.

While there are no added extras such as voice control, what the H790 does, it does well. It features Motorola’s own Crystal Talk technology and this ensures the device offers absolutely exceptional audio performance. Many Bluetooth headsets on the market still fall short in this department, which is disappointing.

Another plus is the slim and light form factor, which allows it to sit comfortably on the ear for long periods of time. In fact, Motorola claims the H790 is its slimmest dual-microphone headset to date.

The Motorola H790 Bluetooth headset is available in Australia now with a recommended retail price of $99.95.

A review on Amazon indicates you can't use a USB cable to charge the unit -- that's a shame. With my G1 I can charge it just about anywhere that has a USB cable with the appropriate adapter (AC for home/work, or DC in the car) or just plug into a laptop or computer.
