Apple Magic Mouse review

Apple Magic Mouse review

The wireless Apple Magic Mouse - due to be released later this month - is the first mouse to use the Multi-Touch technology found on the iPhone, iPod Touch and Mac notebook trackpads.

The Magic Mouse dispenses with the traditional clickable buttons and scrollwheels - instead you use intuitive finger gestures on the touch-sensitive surface to move the mouse’s cursor on-screen and perform the standard functions.

The touch-sensitive surface can either be single- or multi-button - this can be configured easily as you require - and is ideal for scrolling through long documents or moving across large images.

You can also “swipe” to go back and forward through lots of web pages or photos.

The Apple Magic Mouse’s Australian release date has been set for the end of October, with the recommended retail price being $99.

  • I haven't used a mouse for years but I am really hanging out to get my "hand" on one of these..they look so cool.
  • Agree, they're really cool!

I tried one last later last week in Asia and they are REALLY PAINFUL to use :-( because they're 'thin' you hold them entirely differently to any other mouse and you end up having a "cramp" in your hand!

Typical Apple though... look nice but thats about it.
  • That's true - might be better suited for those with petite hands.
